Instruction bookmark

Load your machine with the design. Hoop the fabric on which the bookmark will be sewn on. Use hard stabilizer.

Sew the embroidery. Stop before the last color.

Iron Wonder Under (Vlisofix) at the backside of the backside fabric. This piece should be a slightly bigger than the area that are embroidered . Remove the paper.

Place the backing with the Wonder Under upwards and place the hoop on top.

Iron inside the hoop. Use an iron cloth for protection. Or pin if the hoop is to small for the iron.

Load the hoop into machine and sew out last color.

Tip: Use the same thread in the bobbin as you use in the edge, specially when the fabric and the thread are in other color than white.

This is how it looks at the back side.

Cut around the edge, as near the satin stitches as possible.

Punch a hole for the satin ribbon.

Add the ribbon and Your bookmark is done.
